Dave Brackenridge preaches at the Home Church Scotland, a nonprofit registered under "the advancement of religion". He made the comments in a sermon livestreamed on YouTube last month (pictured).

Brackenridge is also chief executive of Scottish charity Rookie Rockstars, which provides 'anti-bullying workshops' in primary schools. It claims to run in 23 out of 32 Scottish council areas.

Christian charity compares gay people to demons

The National Secular Society has reported a newly registered Christian charity to the regulator after it compared gay marriage to 'acting like demons'.

Manchester based C&S Akobi Olorun Restoration Ministry UK registered under the charitable purpose 'the advancement of religion' in March. Charities are legally required to act for the general benefit.

In a 2023 post on its Facebook page, the charity's chair of trustees 'Reverend Mother' Opeyemi Sobogun (pictured) claims same-sex attracted marriage "must not be standard anywhere in the world".
