What to wear to a gay nightclub
Just got job at gay bar. Anything to expect?

Just got second job, this one is as a bartender at a “gay/lesbian / metro, etc” bar. I am super excited and looking forward to starting this week if all goes well. I am not gay, nor do I drink, nor have I ever been a bartender. Not that there’s anything wrong with that! I have worked in restaurants for over 8 years and I am 2 types of certified to be a bartender.
I have heard many people perpetuating a stereotype that gay people are nice tippers and saying “oh great, you’ll make lots of tips!” Has anyone else encountered this stereotype? Does anyone know if it has a kernel of truth?
Would you take such a position if you weren’t lgbtq+ and didn’t drink? would you care what people thought? I’m a mentor and I listed my boss as a reference and made sure it would be okay. she said it’s not a problem.
Any pieces of advice or words of wisdom about being a bartender in general or anything specific to this type of work?

Recently a confidant of mine came out (as homosexual ) duh, and I'm gonna seize him out club hopping, I yearn to look kind cuz I've been crushing on that guy sense before he came out... I have a feeling that he feels the equal so I just want to produce sure that I look my foremost. Just to reinforce it :)
I'm 27, decent body, can wear fitted clothing and watch good, but can't get away with skintight (no six pack, but no gut either)
My budget is about $150.. I already have the shoes but need a shirt and some nice jeans... I already have some decent t shirts, so would I be better served by splurging on a hot pair of jeans?
I want to observe somewhat classy, so no completely trashy clothes :)
I was thinking convey or banana republic, but there is a Nordstrom's here too but I'm not really experienced with that place.
Please mefites, assist me keep his eyes on me.
