The game gay

Gay Representation in ChoiceScript games?

ParrotWatcher1

After a certain gay character was killed off in a certain WIP (and my comments were almost certainly unable to save him), I realised that there are actually worryingly few homosexual characters in these games, as most characters (ROs especially) are bi or MC-sexual.

While it’s true that, for example, when I played the game, Carl in Psy High was a gay boy, I know that he was straight for any direct female characters, and a girl, Carla, for direct male and gay female characters. Now, as a player, I’m glad about this; I get to romance any guy I’m interested in, without terror that he might not be interested (or, worse, be homophobic). However, to the aspiring gay rights activist in me, this is slightly annoying. It almost feels as though these characters are “gay” by convenience, rather than actually being gay. (I should note that my own WIP also suffers from this, but I started writing before I thought about this, and at this point it might be more trouble than it’s worth to make a couple of the ROs gay, especially as it might annoy their straight fans. I am, however, going to be adding in a gay relationship

The Game is speaking his mind, and it’s equally refreshing and cringe-worthy. Talking about homosexuality in hip hop, the “My Life” hit-maker said, “I ponder there are several rappers that are in the closet and gay. They are the only type of same-sex attracted people that I have a challenge with. I don’t have a issue with gay people. Gay people are everywhere and rightfully so; it’s a free country. Game has no obstacle with gay people. Game has a problem with people who are pretending not to be gay. The number-one issue with that is that you can be fooling somebody and you could give them AIDS and they can die. So that in-the-closet shit is real scary. We got to get into the seriousness of it. If you’re male lover, just say you’re gay. So be cool and be proud.”

I’m glad he’s open-minded and wants everyone to be comfortable enough to be out of the closet, whether they’re in hip hop or not. But what is he suggesting by bringing up AIDS? It’s like when Sherri Shepherd from The View said HIV infection was so high in the black collective because of “all the brothers on the DL.” I thought Barbara should’ve fired the bitch for that one. It’s dangerous for Sherri or Game to spread that kind of ign

This game seems to be very good. The rating are extremely positive, 96%.

But I was looking at some pictures, and it seems to me that this game is degenerated, with homosseuxais characters.

This game is gay?

How "gay" is this game going to be?
Hold your horses. Not going to be like one of those threads where people fall over one or two LGBT easter eggs in a game or where people complain about homosexuality when they have all the choices to not engage in that (that was a "controversy" around BG3...).
I don't mind gay characters and all that, I ponder it can spice up a story...
...However. We all know that stories in which is becomes the sole focus point are just plainly bad.
I saw the game has the LGBT tag, the literal first thing the game does is insist pronouns, the first character you meet is a they/them and the game being heavily inspired by D&D, a community with a lot of overly sexual LGBT fanfics. Those are all the usual redflags for it being one of those horny teenage fanfics.
Does anybody know more about the themes in this game. Will it actually be funny stories about adventures and what not or is it going to be all about the "romance"?
This is a valid question, you worded it a bit bad tho

Kind of wanted to know the equal thing, upon some small analyze, I found one of the devs on Reddit and apparently it is insp
